Glint Reels Terms of Service
Welcome to the products, features and related services provided by Glint Reels.
Before you start using our services, please carefully read these Terms of Service, paying special attention to provisions covering account security, limitation of liability, indemnification, advertisement display, paid services, subscriptions, virtual currency and third-party services.
If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please stop accessing or using Glint Reels. By accessing, browsing, logging in, registering or otherwise using Glint Reels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, accepted and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Application and Relevant Parties
These Terms define the rights and obligations between you and us arising from your use of Glint Reels products and services, and are legally binding on both parties.
Any individual or organisation that accesses, registers, logs in, browses or otherwise uses Glint Reels products, content, features and services shall be subject to these Terms.
For the purposes of these Terms:
- "We" or "us" refers to Glint Reels and its corresponding service operator;
- "Operator" means the legally authorised entity responsible for the daily operation, maintenance and management of Glint Reels;
- "User" or "you" means any individual or organisation that actually accesses, registers, logs in or otherwise uses Glint Reels products and services.
2. Use of Accounts, Devices and Software
2.1 Login and Account Usage
You may browse part of Glint Reels content in guest mode without registering an account to use corresponding features.
To enjoy a more complete user experience and reduce risks of account loss, failed recovery or unauthorised access by others, we recommend logging in via secure verification methods such as Google Login.
2.2 Account Security Responsibilities
You shall properly safeguard your account, password and identity verification information, and bear responsibility for the security of such information.
Logging out promptly after use helps reduce the risk of unauthorised access to your account.
If your account is stolen, accessed by others or you suffer other losses due to your failure to protect account information (including voluntarily disclosing account details, information leakage, forgotten credentials or other personal reasons), you shall bear all relevant liabilities and losses.
We shall not be liable for compensation for account security issues, privacy breaches or related losses not caused by our fault, such as system vulnerabilities or internal management oversights.
2.3 Devices and Associated Costs
You shall prepare your own terminal equipment required to use Glint Reels, including but not limited to mobile phones and computers.
All network fees, data usage charges, equipment purchase costs and other related expenses incurred while using the service shall be borne solely by you.
You acknowledge that Glint Reels will consume a certain amount of device storage space and network bandwidth during operation.
2.4 Software Licence
To use certain features, you may need to download, install or run software provided by us.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use such software solely for accessing and using Glint Reels services.
You may not use the software for other purposes without our prior written authorisation.
2.5 Software Updates
We may release new versions or software updates from time to time for product optimisation, security maintenance, service improvement or enhanced user experience.
You are advised to install and use the latest available version. If you choose not to update, we cannot guarantee the continued proper operation of older software versions or associated services.
3. Protection of Personal Information and Account Data
We attach great importance to user personal information security and treat data protection as a key part of service operation.
When you log into Glint Reels via a third-party account, within the limits of existing technology, we will adopt appropriate security technologies, internal management procedures and confidentiality mechanisms to reduce risks of unauthorised access, use or disclosure of your personal information.
You may view, modify or update the personal data you have submitted through functions provided on the platform.
In principle, we will not disclose your personal information to other companies, organisations or individuals without your explicit authorisation, unless otherwise required by law or under circumstances specified in these Terms.
Except in the following cases, we will not disclose your registration information and non-public content stored in our system to the public or third parties:
- You have given prior consent;
- Disclosure is required by laws, regulations, government agencies or judicial authorities;
- Disclosure is necessary to safeguard public interests;
- Disclosure is necessary to protect our legitimate rights and interests.

4. Free Services, Paid Content and Subscription Rules
Some features of Glint Reels are available for free, while certain features or content may require payment.
Payments you make for services constitute consideration for the value-added services we provide to you.
4.1 Product Purchase and Validity Period
For paid features, content or services, you shall complete payment in accordance with the price, billing method and validity period displayed on the purchase page.
Subscriptions or pay-per-use content are valid for one month from the date of payment. We only grant access to relevant content within this validity period. We are not liable if access to services terminates upon expiry.
Once you subscribe to or purchase any content, the transaction cannot in principle be modified or revoked after completion.
4.2 Prepaid Balance and Refunds
Funds recharged to your account may only be used to purchase services under these Terms. Funds already consumed are non-refundable.
If you apply for a refund of your account balance and your application is approved after our review, funds will in principle be refunded via the original payment channel, subject to a 10% handling fee calculated on the refund amount.
If refund via the original payment method is not feasible, you may contact us to provide an alternative receiving account to receive the funds.
4.3 Adjustment of Pricing and Billing Rules
Different services may apply different charging standards.
We may adjust service prices, billing methods and payment rules according to operational needs, and convert existing free services into paid services. Revised rules take effect upon publication. We will notify you in advance of price adjustments or changes from free to paid services via notices or announcements.
If you do not accept the revised pricing or service rules, you may stop using the relevant services. Continued use of services after new rules take effect constitutes your acceptance of such revised rules.
5. Top-ups and Virtual Currency
Some products or services on Glint Reels may require purchase of corresponding virtual currency for use. Different products may require different types of virtual currency; please confirm the currency type matches your target product before purchase.
5.1 Top-up Confirmation
Before completing a top-up, please carefully verify your recharge account, amount and selected virtual currency type.
Once a top-up is completed, it cannot be revoked or modified.
You shall bear all consequences for losses caused by your own operational errors such as incorrect account entry or wrong amount selection.
5.2 Restrictions on Virtual Currency Trading
You may not use Glint Reels to trade virtual currency with other users.
We reserve the right to restrict account functions, suspend services or terminate your account without prior notice for users violating this rule.
You are not entitled to claim compensation from us if your account is frozen or terminated due to your violation.
5.3 Third-Party Payment Channels
If you complete top-ups or purchases through third-party payment services, you must also abide by the rules of such third-party payment platforms.
When using third-party payment services, please properly protect your personal data, payment accounts and other sensitive information. We shall not be responsible for issues arising from the third-party payment provider itself.
5.4 Abnormal Top-up Data
If platform malfunctions cause discrepancies between the amount you paid and the amount actually received by us, you may submit relevant transaction evidence after data recovery for our verification and handling.
Upon verification:
- If the amount received is less than the amount payable, we will make up the difference;
- If the amount received exceeds the amount payable, we reserve the right to recover the overpaid portion.
6. Advertisement Display and Third-Party Services
6.1 Advertisement Display
You understand and agree that while providing Glint Reels services, we may display advertisements, commercial messages or other promotional content to you either directly or through cooperating third parties.
We may adjust the placement, scope and format of advertisements according to operational needs without separate notification for each adjustment.
Even if you have purchased paid Glint Reels services, this does not mean all in-app advertisements will be removed. Advertisement display forms part of our service arrangement. Your acceptance of these Terms indicates acceptance of this arrangement.
6.2 Assessment of Advertisement Content
We will handle advertising activities in compliance with applicable laws.
However, you must independently judge the authenticity, accuracy and reliability of advertisement content displayed on the platform.
Before clicking advertisements, purchasing advertised goods or taking other actions based on ad content, you shall independently verify the advertisement and the counterparty to any transaction.
Unless otherwise expressly required by law, you shall bear all losses arising from transactions or other actions you take based on advertisement content, and we shall not be held liable.
6.3 Third-Party Products and Services
When you use, redirect to or access third-party products, content, services or features through Glint Reels, your activities are also governed by the agreements, rules, policies and terms established by such third-party service providers, in addition to these Terms.
To the extent permitted by law and relevant agreements, we and third-party service providers are independent parties, each responsible for our own services, actions, obligations and any disputes arising therefrom.
7. Rules for Service Usage
Unless otherwise agreed in writing between you and us, Glint Reels services are licensed solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
You shall use services only in the manner provided, authorised or permitted by us.
Your right to use the service is personal and may not be sold, rented, lent or transferred to any other party.
Without our permission, you may not use plugins, add-ons, extensions, third-party tools or other technical means to interfere with, affect or disrupt the normal operation of Glint Reels.
Violation of the above requirements constitutes a material breach of contract. We may suspend or terminate provision of relevant services to you and reserve the right to retain any fees you have paid as liquidated damages.
If our actual losses exceed the retained amount, we retain the right to claim compensation for the excess portion.
8. Prohibited Conduct
When using Glint Reels, you shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and must not use this service for illegal, infringing or improper activities.
Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to: Publishing, storing, sending or disseminating content that endangers national security and unity, undermines social stability, violates public order and good morals, or contains insulting, defamatory, pornographic, violent or other unlawful material; Disseminating, publishing or storing information that infringes the intellectual property rights, trade secrets or other legitimate rights of others; Misleading others or committing malicious fraud by fabricating facts, concealing the truth or other means; Publishing or disseminating advertisements, spam or other unauthorised commercial promotional content; Engaging in other activities prohibited by applicable laws and regulations.
You shall bear all legal liabilities arising from the above conduct. If competent authorities issue requirements, fines or other penalties in relation to your conduct, we may cooperate in accordance with law.
9. User-Submitted Content and Third-Party Claims
9.1 Liability for User Content
You are solely responsible for all content sent, uploaded, published, transmitted, distributed or otherwise made available by you through Glint Reels.
Such content includes but is not limited to text, web pages, images, audio, video, graphics, hyperlinks and other materials.
9.2 Warranty of Content Rights
You represent and warrant that content you provide through Glint Reels has a lawful source.
You must either hold the legal rights to such content or have obtained all necessary permissions and authorisations from relevant rights holders.
9.3 Use of Content for Service Delivery
You agree that we may use the content you send or transmit via Glint Reels to the extent necessary to perform these Terms, provide services, maintain normal platform operation, handle complaints or protect our legitimate rights and interests.
9.4 Handling Third-Party Complaints
If a rights holder or other relevant party notifies us that content published or provided by you infringes their legitimate rights, we may, at our discretion, delete, block, disable or restrict access to the relevant content.
10. Intellectual Property and Brand Rights
10.1 Brands and Logos
The commercial identifiers, names, trademarks, logos, brand elements and other marks appearing within Glint Reels services are protected by copyright, trademark rights or other legal rights, and belong to us or the respective rights holders.
You may not copy, use, display, modify, disseminate or otherwise exploit such identifiers without prior authorisation.
10.2 Product and Service Content
Intellectual property rights including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets and other statutory rights in information, text, materials, software, audio, images, videos, graphics and other service content associated with Glint Reels belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws worldwide.
Without prior lawful authorisation from us or relevant rights holders, you may not modify, copy, distribute, disseminate, display, perform, reproduce, license, transfer or sell such content, nor create derivative works based upon it.
Violation of this Section constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
In such event, we may immediately terminate your access to relevant services, require you to delete or destroy materials obtained through unauthorised use, and reserve the right to take other legal remedies.
11. Local Laws, Public Order and Related Activities
Wherever you are located, when using Glint Reels you shall comply with applicable local laws and regulations, and respect local customs, traditions, public order and social norms.
You shall bear all consequences arising from violations of local laws, regulations, customs or moral standards.
Furthermore, you may not use Glint Reels in any way that exposes us to involvement in political activities, public incidents, social disputes or similar activities.
If your usage creates such risks, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service.
Violation of this Section constitutes a material breach. We may suspend or terminate services, retain paid fees as liquidated damages, and take further legal remedies according to the extent of losses.
12. Handling of Infringing Content and Accounts
If we discover on our own, or learn via complaints or notices, that content you provide or actions you take violate these Terms, we may delete, block, disable or restrict access to relevant content on a case-by-case basis.
Depending on the severity of the violation, we may further:
- Suspend or terminate part or all services;
- Restrict, freeze or terminate your account;
- Initiate legal action as appropriate.
If your violation causes harm to third parties, you shall bear full liability.
If we suffer losses, incur legal liability, face third-party claims or incur other expenses as a result, you shall compensate us accordingly.
Breach of the rules on prohibited conduct under these Terms constitutes a material breach. We may suspend or terminate your service access and retain fees you have paid as liquidated damages.
If our actual losses exceed the retained amount, we may pursue further liability through legal channels.
13. Service Operation and Potential Risks
Glint Reels is provided based on currently available technical conditions and practical operating environments.
We will endeavour to maintain stable, secure and continuous service operation, yet no online or software service can eliminate all operational risks.
Events that may affect the service include but are not limited to natural disasters, computer viruses, Trojans, hacker attacks, system failures, service outages, data loss, anomalies in third-party services, government actions and other similar factors.
14. Force Majeure and Limitation of Liability
14.1 Force Majeure
You understand and accept that Glint Reels services may be affected by force majeure or events beyond our reasonable control.
Force majeure refers to unforeseeable, unavoidable and insurmountable objective events including but not limited to natural disasters, wars, civil unrest and government actions.
Upon occurrence of a force majeure event, we will cooperate with relevant maintenance, repair or compensation arrangements where appropriate; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for losses directly caused by force majeure.
14.2 Anomalies Beyond Our Reasonable Control
To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for service interruption, delay, failure or operational anomalies caused by: Computer viruses, Trojans, malware, hacker attacks or other similar cybersecurity incidents; Malfunctions in your software, operating system, hardware, communication lines or faults in our relevant systems; User operational errors; Your unauthorised use of services; Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
14.3 Risks from Online Information and Other Users
You acknowledge that internet information and the conduct of other users carry inherent uncertainties and risks.
We do not warrant the truthfulness, accuracy, suitability or legality of online information, nor shall we be liable for damages caused to you by third-party infringements.
Relevant risks may include: Threatening, defamatory, offensive or unlawful information posted by other users; Mental, personal or property losses arising from fraud or misleading conduct by other parties; Other risks stemming from online information or user behaviour.
14.4 Special High-Risk Environments
Glint Reels is not designed for specific high-risk applications including nuclear facilities, military use, medical systems, transportation systems and the like.
If Glint Reels is used in such high-risk environments and system or service failure results in personal injury or death, environmental damage, property loss or other serious consequences, we shall not be liable.
14.5 Limitations on Content Moderation
We have the right, but not the obligation, to handle content violating these Terms.
Accordingly, we do not guarantee timely detection, review or handling of all violations or unlawful information on the platform.
14.6 Anti-Fraud Reminder
Please treat unsolicited property-related messages with caution, especially messages concerning loans, password requests, account verification, fund transfers, virtual assets or other monetary operations.
Before performing related actions, carefully verify the identity of the counterparty and follow Glint Reels’ anti-fraud reminders and security guidance.
15. Rules for Minor Users
Users under the age of 18 are minors and shall read and use Glint Reels services under the guidance and supervision of parents or legal guardians.
Minor users shall observe the following when using online services: Distinguish properly between the online world and real life, and avoid excessive internet use that disrupts study and daily life; Exercise caution when sharing and protect your personal information; Use the internet appropriately under the guidance of parents or legal guardians; Avoid unfamiliar, unlawful, suspicious or high-risk online activities.
Guardians and schools shall appropriately supervise and guide minors’ use of Glint Reels.
We recommend parents and guardians deliver necessary online safety education to minors to help identify and mitigate online risks.
If parents or guardians believe their minor child needs to use Glint Reels, especially children under 10 years old, the guardian may register an account under their own name and independently decide whether platform content and services are suitable for that minor.
We also attach importance to the protection of minors’ personal information.
16. Service Adjustment, Restriction and Termination
We may modify, interrupt, suspend or terminate all or part of Glint Reels services based on product development, operational needs, legal requirements, security factors or other reasonable grounds.
We may suspend or terminate your access to services without prior notice if any of the following occurs: You are required by law or service rules to submit truthful information, but the information you submit is false, inconsistent, incomplete or lacks reasonable explanation; You breach these Terms or applicable laws and regulations; Government authorities, judicial authorities or other competent authorities require such measures; Immediate restriction is necessary for security protection or other essential reasons.
17. Amendment of Terms and Continued Use
We may supplement, revise or update these Terms based on product operation, service updates or other needs.
The latest version will be published on relevant Glint Reels service pages or other appropriate channels.
After the updated Terms take effect, your continued access to or use of Glint Reels constitutes acceptance of the revised content.
If you reject the revised Terms, you must stop using the services.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence, excluding conflict of law rules.
If any dispute arises out of or in connection with these Terms or Glint Reels services, you and we shall first attempt to resolve it through amicable negotiation.
If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to a mutually agreed neutral international arbitration institution for final arbitration.
Section headings in these Terms are for convenience of reading and understanding only and shall not affect the interpretation of the corresponding provisions.
If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
